I have heard that season 4 will not have its rating requirement removed in lich king, but I still have not heard anything at all about season 3 requirements. Any chance of an actual answer?

There are no current plans to alter the costs or requirements associated with the season 3 and 4 gear.

Quick follow up, when players hit 80 will they still be able to work on season 3/4 items if they so choose, or are these items forever unachievable?

I don't believe those items will still be on the vendors. Let me get back to you on that with a more definitive answer.

Explain the logic of keeping some people in S2 weps and shoulders please. 3 seasons behind? This is a little ridiculous.

I'm not sure I understand your point. It's not as though players are getting new arena upgrades after season 4 ends. The gear separation between the next patch and the expansion will be the exact same as it is now, except for the fact that there are a few upgrades through honor vendors.

Are the new honor items really that much better than what's available?

No. I only brought them up to emphasize the point that the PvP gear gap that currently exists is going to do anything but increase during the time between the next patch and the expansion.

Hell, you'll be lucky if they don't charge you Arena points just to get on the boat to Northrend.

Not bad, though I ask that you please use our Suggestions forum for any other great ideas you conjure up going forward. Thanks. :)

Any updates on this?

Sorry for the delay. Season 3 and season 4 items should still be on the vendors after Wrath of the Lich King launches. This means you could technically buy this gear at level 80 if you so choose. Bear in mind though that players will have their arena points wiped around the launch of the expansion, and will be unable to create teams and acquire points and ratings until season 5 begins.

We Both know its a scheme that blizz made in order to secure profits, by having players hooked thyre precious time farming PvP Gear. Pffft please

I feel there might be less you and I collectively know than you may think with regards to this game. :p
