Is WOTLK the last expansion?

What do you guys/girl think?

Pros for it to be the last expansion:
- The game is 4 years old, WOTLK should have a life expectancy of 2 years. That brings us to 2010 and without a major graphic and engine overall it’s going to be showing its age.
- We will probably kill or spank Arthas at the end of WOTLK, it would be a great transitional point to jump to a sequel.
- Being that WOW is such a success, Vivendi/Blizzard must be working on a sequel. I just can’t see them leaving all that money behind.

Cons

- Milk the cow! Another expansion is a lot of money and…
- Gives them more time for the sequel

Nothing to do this morning, just wanted to see what the community was thinking!

There's more story to be told and we have plans to tell it.

Q u o t e:

Oh? Are you going to continue to delete and change all the old stories so new players dont get to see and experience them ?

Your new stories are not stories... they are just recolored mobs and gear with crappy drop rates to keep people paying monthly fees.

This is an example of non-constructive posting. While I'm sure you feel better for expressing how you feel, it does not contribute to the community and instead only serves to further disrupt the purpose of the forums.

Stories don't end even when they have an ending. Unless every last living creature and person is killed, they continue to go on. You just might not get to learn of what is happening beyond that point.

While I know some have expressed concern over facing Arthas, he is but one element in the vast story that encompasses Azeroth. The world did not begin with him, and the likelihood of it ending with him is a stretch. :)

This thread doesn't need to keep coming back given its irrelevance today.
