Banned By a GM Again I Was Totally Legit

Greetings I am back again. Yesterday I learned here that PvP was legal in Area 52 as long as I aggroed a guard. So with this new found knowledge I went back to Area 52 and aggroed the Rocket Launchers as I attacked EVERY TIME because I wanted to keep it legit. I was clearly getting hit by Rocket Launchers as I ran off after.

After some time I get an automated message from [removed] that he/she will be investigating me etc.. and I may be taken offline. I tried to speak with the GM but it said I had no open ticket. So I opened a ticket to try to speak with him/her. I also typed in say since I could not directly speak with the GM that I was aggroing guards and that he/she should check my thread in customer support before taking action.

This was ignored and I was banned before my ticket could even be answered. Now not only does this GM not know that neutral town PvP is ok so long as you aggro guards, but the GM who answered my ticket about an hour or so after I was banned does not know either. The e-mail I recieved after the fact was this....

Answer: From what I can see, the action you were talking about is not considered legal play, but a bug exploitation that can be used to attack other players unfairly. This policy isn't something over which the Game Master staff has control, but if you would like to propose a change, please visit the worldofwarcraft.com suggestion forums. Thanks!

Clearly in my petition I said what was happening, and this GM who wasn't even around said I was breaking rules. I need action taken to both GM's [removed] and [removed] to make sure they understand what policy is when it comes to neutral town PvP. Clearly aggroing Rocket Launchers is not bug exploitation, and running away from them is not either.

I would also like a note put on my character that I am aggroing Rocket Launchers and it is not a bannable offense because these GM's need to know that, not only these 2, but all the GM's who will be showing up I need them to clearly understand what it is I am doing if I cannot contact them due to an automated response.

Luckily this was only a 3 hour ban or I would not even be able to type this, because when I get banned I cannot access the forums or my account.

We cannot make a note on your account absolving you from the possibility of being penalized in the future for wrong doings in Area 52, Dawnmyst. If we made such an account note, what sort of reassurance are we going to have that you are always PvPing by the rules?

What we know is a Game Master claims to have witnessed you, yet again, exploiting the guard pathing in Area 52 to provide you an unfair advantage in a neutral town. I was not personally there to witness what you were doing; however, all evidence points to the fact that this Game Master was.

I am sorry for the continual frustration this has caused you, though I do believe you will continue to face more severe consequences if you continue to test the limits of our policy in this regard.

I will not be able to walk you through every variable which would or would not be a violation of our policies in Area 52. The guards there are not currently functioning correctly depending on where players are standing. I strongly suggest that you simply abstain from attempting to engage in PvP in Area 52, at least until after 2.1 fixes some of the pathing inconsistencies and we can further review our policy specific to this one town in the Outlands.
