Honor Calculations Issues: 05/09 to 05/12

We have received word from our database administrators that all Honor Points from 5/9 to 5/11 should now have been calculated accordingly; please note, however, that each individual character's Honor may not display properly until the next tabulations run during their normal time -- that is to say, after this evening's nightly calculations. Please wait until tomorrow to check your Honor Points and report any potential issues then.

We are, again, deeply apologetic for any inconvenience this matter may have caused, and thank you for your patience while we sorted it out.

I have not forgotten this thread nor the players its purpose and subject matter affects. :)

While I wish my return was due to more exciting and positive reasons, I'm afraid I have no news to report at this time. I can, however, inform those here that this issue has been investigated consistently since my original post, and is still being addressed at this time. Our staff is working very hard to resolve this matter--and, believe it or not, as quickly as possible.

I am continually pinging my sources for more information. Once I receive any further update of note, I will relay it here, as promised.

We have, indeed, acknowledged that there are ongoing issues present with honor calculation for all realms assigned to battlegroup Vengeance. These issues have affected distribution for the past few days and have been closely monitored for just as long.

Unfortunately, Zaruko, we have not yet reached a resolution; however, I can assure you that all viable resources are working jointly to have these matters alleviated as soon as possible. While an ETA cannot be provided at this time, I have tasked myself as a liaison; should any updates become available, I will relay them to the players via this thread.

Each day's calculations are independent of one another. If a calculation issue is experienced one day, it is not guaranteed to persist through any subsequent calculation periods (the time during which honor is tabulated and distributed), nor is it likely.

This thread serves several purposes (and was created as soon as these issues breached the 2-day mark): it acts as a means of communication between you--the players--and the Game Master department; it allows me to collect data in a very centralized location; and, I suppose, it serves as a potential warning--though, let me say, there is no current indication that this will continue through tonight's calculations.

Here's what I've got, ladies and gents:

Honor calculations which did not run at their scheduled times for 05/09 and 05/10 were rolled over for all affected realms on 05/11. Two days of honor were incorporated into this one push.

Honor calculations which did not run at the scheduled time for 05/11 were rolled over yesterday (05/12), at approximately 3:50pm PDT. This push encompassed only one day's worth of honor.

At present, my records show that all honor should be distributed appropriately at this time; however, due to the various roll overs which have occurred over the past few days, it is likely that it may take time for all honor to accurately appear in one's PvP tab.


Now, lay it on me. I'm sure you've got things to say. :)

These rollovers did occur at the same time; however, it's very unlikely that all players across all realms would have noticed the update simultaneously.

According to the information I've been provided, all honor calculations for dates 05/09, 05/10, and 05/11 should be distributed appropriately at this time. Honor for 05/09 and 05/10 was rolled out on Friday, and honor for 05/11 was rolled out yesterday afternoon.

Not all players may not be accurately displaying their true total, which is why some reports have indicated full honor being received and why some have not. This should be a merely graphical/display concern and not an internal issue.

Unfortunately, it may vary. Suffice it to say, honor was been calculated for the dates noted; while some players will still be playing a form of "catch up" in their PvP tab, most should be witnessing an accurate total currently.

I am temporarily locking this thread to prevent Arena and Honor point confusion.
