Bliz Breaking Epic Quest Chain for WotLK

Due to some apparent lack of foresight, Blizzard has wrecked the epic Alliance quest chain for Onyxia and won't be fixing it (until perhaps after the expansion release).

This is a pity since I am currently in the midst of this chain and I'm not interested in getting power-leveled through it as I want to experience it properly.

Instead of recklessly smashing your best quest chains so we can kill ice boars in Northrend, maybe you folks can do a better job of maintaining some of your classic content?

I understand that you're implementing some "phasing" technology whereby what a player sees depends on what quests he has completed. This would be appropriate to do in many cases, such as the Onyxia quest chain and maybe things like Old Naxx (players can do Old Naxx until they enter New Naxx etc).

Honestly, let your players enjoy the content at their own pace instead of wrecking the old, and forcing powerleveling to enjoy supported content.

There is still time before the next patch launches to complete the quest chain. It's not often that we alter older content like this, but we know we do want to keep the game moving forward and the story evolving. After several years of this being available we are making updates to the story in this area and feel it will be more exciting to have these story updates right away and then fix the Onyxia attunement sometime in the future.

There is no plan to add an achievement/feat of strength for this.
