Not getting 300% xp on refer a friend quests

My refer a friend and I are grouped and questing together tonight. We are getting the 300% xp for killing but when we turn in the quests together, we are not getting the increased xp. The quests are still green, but the last 3 quests have not granted the increased xp. We are together when turning in our quests. We are the same level. Is this a problem with our accounts or a known problem with refer a friend?

As Pricilla said, Alarii, the way the Recruit a Friend triple experience works is the encounter/quest can not be trivial to anyone in the group. Trivial is generally considered to be "gray" quests however as you level the level range that a mob or quest remains green increases. If a quest is a number of levels below you (normally 5) it is considered trivial.

We are working on getting further clarification, I apologize for the confusion this has caused.

Q u o t e:
But what I am is saying, is HOW do I know what is 5 lvls below me? The information the quest log gives me does NOT include this information? So do I just avoid ALL green quests??

Unfortunately the only method at the moment is to use fansites such as the one Jaelythe listed or addons that adjust the in-game UI to display the level of the quest.

My point is that I should not HAVE to have an add-on to know this information.

And as I said, we are currently seeking further clarification. I don't know what will come of it but if you wish you may post in our Suggestion Forums with such a request as well.

Again, I am very sorry for any inconvenience that may have been caused.

But again, I will point out that one of the first questions or instructions you are given from GM's is "are you running any add-ons? if so, turn them off." .... This is incongruous with the suggestion that I get a fan site add on to gather information that Blizzard says I need but does not provide within the game.

That is one of the first troubleshooting steps we have you perform when you are experiencing an issue. Any file can become corrupt and cause an issue, addons are usually extra susceptible to this so if there is an issue we like to eliminate that as one of the causes.

It isn't because we think addons are bad, just prone to complications from time to time, especially after a patch where some aspects of the game may have changed and the addon hasn't been updated to handle it.
