Not getting The Battle for Lordaeron quest?

After doing it on 2 of my toons it's not showing up for any of my other 110s

Not getting the initial quest to go to org, can't talk to Saurfang, and the person to queue up is not there either.

Where are you attempting to speak with Saurfang, Odenthor? From what I can see the character you are posting on did part one of the War of Thorns but not part two. Saurfang should be in Darkshore for that. Once you complete it, the scenario quests should become available.

same, my alts picked up the quest for part 2 but chose the SKIP option.

There isn't a skip option for part 2 of War of Thorns. From what I can see you completed the Battle for Lordaeron on this character, your 110 Human Paladin has The Battle for Lordaeron in progress and your 110 Void Elf Hunter "A Threat from the North". Once you complete that questline you should be able to start the quests for the scenario.

Same here! Skipped phase 1 quests, finished phase 2 quests (and dailys), now the next phase to speak to Saurfang in Orgrimmar is not showing up.

On this character, Rixky? It looks like the Hour of Reckoning popped up for yo and is currently in your quest log.

On my map in Orgrimmar I see an exclamation point and "Hour of Reckoning," in the Main Orgrimmar throne room but the Saurfang models doesn't have a quest. Once I'm inside the building I can't see the exclamation point.

Strange, I did a quick check on your Monk and they seem to have the quest and could see Saurfang, who had the question mark to turn in "Hour of Reckoning". Same for your Warrior and Warlock.

I have relogged a number of times, i did part 1, still nothing

You appear to have some of the quests for part 2 in progress. Once you complete those you should get "Hour of Reckoning" to pop up.

did the scenario and when I try to get back to darkshore for my few dailys over there the ports pop me into darn where the only way I can get out is to hearth plz help

Try this, Rewopesor.

Get to Stormwind. You can teleport directly if you are a Mage or use the Dalaran Hearthstone and use one of the portals there.

Then use the portal to mount Hyjal and fly back to Zidormi and talk to her again. Select the option "Take me back to the present". That should hopefully resolve the issue so you can continue with the Hour of Reckoning.

Did all the Darkshore stuff but can't speak to Saurfang and Isabella not letting me go thru the port. Sylvanas and Blightcaller are MiA. What am I missing here if anything? I did this in the Beta and it was bugged. Is it bugged here too? :(

Looking at the last character you logged into, that character appears to have the quest "Hour of Reckoning", Travestie. Do you not see it?

For those who believe you qualify for the Hour of Reckoning, meaning you completed chapter two of the War of Thorns if you aren't getting the quest please try relogging. If that doesn't work try resetting your User Interface to default.

Can a gm check my toon not getting the quest at all

Possibly, but you'd need to submit a ticket, Marlz, Game Masters do not browse the forums as part of their normal duty.

It might be better if we had a bit of clarification. What do you mean you aren't getting the quest at all? Have you visited Darkshore? When you do you should receive Saurfang Returns, which will lead to the other quests for chapter 2. After those have been completed, ending with Killer Queen, you should get a quest that leads to the Lordaeron scenario.

You haven't completed the quests from chapter two of the War of Thorns, Briandar. You'll want to visit Lor'danel in Darkshore and pick up "A Threat from the North".

You no longer need to prepurchace BFA for the lorderan it was orignaly suposed to be that way but they changed there minds.

I hadn't heard that it was ever intended to be required, Darthwraith. Do you have a link to where that was stated?

I think this is what DarthWraith was talking about.

Thanks, Jugend, I hadn't seen that. From everything I found out internally this event was to function much like the Legion invasions before that launch, where everyone could participate. Perhaps there were other discussions where other conditions were considered. Glad everything was clarified.

Can Not obtain the Hour of reckoning, despite trying all suggestion in this forum

On which character, Goblin? It looks like you have completed the Battle for Lordaeron on this one. You have a good number of 110's so I looked at just the ones that have been logged into the last couple of days and each one has completed the Battle for Lordaeron with the exception of your Draenei Hunter, who has it as in progress.

Ok I returned to the old Darnassus and The map shows a quest :the flicker of hope. I did that quest already and I am stuck in Darnassus. There is not a quest giver in the temple even though the Quest shows on my map. If I attempt to leave I get ported back with the caption You cant abandon your mission. Strange.

For that, you'll want to speak with Zidormi in Darkshore and tell her to take you back to the present.

If you are in Darnassus you should be able to port or hearth, go to Stormwind use the portal to mount Hyjal and fly back to Zidormi.

I abandon the "find saurfang in northern barrens" quest and now I don't have an option to do the lordaerdon quest! I flew to dark shore and no quest appeared. I feel like I bugged myself by abandoning the one warcheifs agenda quest I had.

On this character, Punisherr? It looks like you abandoned "The Warchief Commands". If you return to Undercity you should be able to pick it back up from Sylvanas. Once you do, you can continue to do chapter one of the War of Thorns or you can select the option to skip that part.

If you do you'll be transported to Darkshore, where you can pick up chapter two.

I believe I'm having similar problems as well regarding not getting the quest line.

Assuming you mean this character, Bomo, it looks like you already completed chapter one. You need to go to Darkshore and pick up Saurfang Returns. It should just pop up on your screen when you enter the area.

hello ive been wondering this too i boosted and bought bfa all my other friends that did the same can get the quest but i cant

Did you boost on another account, Xenith? The highest level character I am seeing on this account is the one you are posting on. It doesn't appear that you currently have Battle for Azeroth yet.

This same thing is happening to me right now, can't start the Battle for Lordaeron on my Horde Shaman. The Hour of Reckoning quest won't pop up for me.

I imagine you figured it out, Poindexter? It looks like you completed the Battle for Lordaeron on your Orc Shaman.

I've burnt the tree down and opened dailies but I can't get the Hour of Reckoning to pop up for me. I've tried all the suggestions in the thread and nothing has worked so far... This is the only character I've done any 8.0 quests on. Saurfang isn't even in org for me

Does anyone else share access to the account, Rekufu? From what I can see Hour of Reckoning and the Battle for Lordaeron were completed between 6-6:30 UTC on 8/9, which would have been between 11 and 11:30 PM PDT last night.

This is the same thing that happened to me. Did you faction transfer Rekufu?

It doesn't appear so, Poindexter. You appear to have completed those quests while on the Alliance version of the Shaman. You don't recall doing it while the character was a dwarf?

I'm not getting it either. I did my 3 alts and now it's not showing up on my main

I assume you consider this character your main? If so, have you actually gone out to Darkshore? The quest "Saurfang Returns" should pop up as soon as you enter the area.

But apparently just the War of the Thorns quests are available after a faction transfer?

Yes, that seems to be the case. Sorry for the confusion.

I believe I timed out the "Find Malfurion" quest in darkshore, then abandoned it when unable to see griffon, but not able to pick it up again. Reset UI and spoke with Zidormi, can't seem to get Battle for Lordaeron, on this character.

The character you are posting on seems to have completed the Battle for Lordaeron. Though it does look like your Worgen Warrior is currently has that scenario in progress.

You might be confusing this character with your Draenei Death Knight. That character appears to have abandoned "The Guidance of Our Shan'do". You should be able to speak with Mia Greymane in the Temple of the Moon to pick it back up though.

You have a number of 110's, I only looked at the first three that were most recently logged into.

Have you tried just a basic UI reset, Helmsley? Just to return it to default to see if that clears up the issue?
