you keep locking threads "because their duplicates of other threads" so my questions for you are:

1> WHY do you not LINK said thread at the bottom when you lock them
2> what happens when said thread is already locked either due to age/inactivity? because
3> said original thread locked means players CAN NOT POST in said original thread so are forced to repeatedly start new threads on the same subjects...

If you have an issue with the way community managers do their moderation, send an email to this address: CMfeedback-en@blizzard.com

Because you are supposed to search before posting

The purpose of the search function is not to find threads to post in, but to find answers to common questions that were answered already or find out if your 'brand new idea' really is as brand new as you claim.

This pretty much covers what I wanted to say on this topic, so there is no need for me to repeat it :-)

Now, in regards to this:
I've tried to search for old topics I've wanted to either re-read or to post more in, but I can't seem to find them all that often, so I give up the project.

Also I agree with the Search function being close to rubbish

The forum search feature can indeed be hard to use efficiently at times, which is why we created this blog update on how to better find the information you're looking for: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/blog/970449
