Writhing essences not dropping in NH

Doing the Leg upgrade quest, only getting essences from faction caches, nothing from bosses in NH.
Bugged?

But it's odd, before i accepted the quest from M+ cache on wednesday they were solid items in the bag. After accepting quest they vanished but showed just in quest objective.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to bring some of the most recent hotfixes regarding Writhing Essences to your attention. Hopefully this will make things a bit clearer:
  • Writhing Essences have been converted to a currency, instead of a quest item.
  • Once this conversion has taken place, “leftover” Writhing Essences will no longer be consumed when turning in the quest.
  • Players will need to visit Dalaran or their Class Hall in order to trigger this conversion on any existing Writhing Essences they already had.Note: since the quest turn-in is in Dalaran, this should happen automatically.
    If a player was online when the hotfix was applied, they will need to have completely logged out of the game before the changes will take effect for them.
