Make your own epic ad about a trash item.

Yesterday, i was fishing in the sewers, looking for another piece of jewelry to handle to Marcia for another bag of goodies. When i fished it out, i got something else as well.

A [Drowned Rat] .

It was the first time i ever saw it. It made me shivver alittle from the inside, along with a bit of disgust. The flavour text is funny though, making a reference to a chieldren's story i've read before and enjoyed.

Then, a thought came to my mind.


How about selling it ?!?

But...who would want a dead (and in this case, drowned) rat? Nobody would buy it IRL, and probably neither in WOW.

So, i decided to do it for fun and made the following ad.


"Have a friend you want to scare? Tired of that crafty gnome rogue that keeps pickpocketing you? Then get your own [Drowned Rat], to scare your friends, or your foes. For only 15 silver, /w me. "

The reaction was a blast. Many people enjoyed the add, and lols were highly present in the trade chat. Then, a player /w me asking if i could COD the rat to him.

So, all had a moment of fun, and i had a small, fully-enjoyed profit ;-)


From this, i ask you all, or chalenge even, to pick a trash item and make an epic add about it.

I should include a few rules about it, just a few simple and easy ones.

1º: the add should be related to the item with some creativity or reference to it.

2º: the text should be small, so that it could be placed on a single chat mesage.

3º: if you want, link the item to prove that it exist, since this may not happen ( an example, from my item: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43694 )


So, annyone got something that he/she would want to sell? ;-P
