Heroic Dungeon trash reset

Just plowed through Utgarde Keep Heroic, since it was the Daily Heroic.
Rolled for stuff after killing Ingvar and then HS'ed to Dalaran.

Went to turn in the quest and realized that I did not loot his head. ....

Mounted up and flew right back and all the trash had already spawned when I entered the instance again.
I dubble checked that difficulty was set to Heroic and such, zoned out and back again. Trash is still there ..

The time I was outsite the instance was about max 10 minutes, so I ask if this is as it should be ?!

Hello!

Even in heroics after a period of time the trash will respawn. This can be used if you are on a particular NPC and for some reason it gets stuck. You can then leave the instance and wait around 30 minutes and then re-enter and the NPC's will reset (apart from boss NPC's that have already been killed). This is known as a "soft-reset".
