To edit the image, first you need to save it onto your hard drive. The procedure to do so may vary from browser to browser but is usually accomplished by right-clicking onto the image, selecting "Save Image As..." and selecting the destination. You can then open the image with any image editing program such as Paint, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, Corel PaintShop Pro, Corel Photo-Paint, GIMP, Macromedia Fireworks, to list a few.

There are usually basic and easy to use ways of adding text to an image. Be sure to use a font and a font size that is easily readable. Turning off the anti-aliasing-effect (smoothing) often enhances readability with very small text.

You may use the version with speech bubbles if you don't feel comfortable with creating them yourself. Should you wish to vary the size, amount, and order of the speech bubbles, you can download the version without the bubbles and create them yourself with an image editing program.

Image editing programs usually give you an easy way to save the picture as a JPEG, which is necessary for submission, since no other format is accepted. You can chose different quality settings, which will result in more or less space the image will take up. There should be no problem in choosing a high quality, since the image will not take up more than the maximum of 2 MB even in the highest quality.
