Not automated, but yes there is a process behind it -- we simply post up every piece of news that goes up on our website, to help increase coverage. But yes it is unfortunate that this news item does make this post look like a thread-from-the-dead. I suspect we might consider revising our stance on posting up web news in cases like this.

But as an aside, sure everyone's in Northrend now and probably only ever going back to Quel'Danas for achievements, but Quel'Danas is still there waiting patiently. We don't consider old world content locked in stone for all eternity, even if we have been focusing mostly on adding new stuff. You never know, maybe a somewhat less materially substantial Kael'thas and friends will one day consider the events during The Burning Crusade merely a setback... time will tell either way.
