Wryxian, your response to someones concern about getting "ganked" on a pvp server was this:

Q u o t e:
If you're not keen on the idea of non-consensual PvP action then a PvE realm might be more fitting for you.

But I have to say this and I dont care if you feel the need to ban me for it. Your (Blizzards) definition of pve realms is pathetic to be honest.

Your "advice" is to tell him to play on a pve realm?
Well guess what? This goes on on pve realms too and before hitting the reply button to say - "dont flag if you dont want to get ganked" please continue reading.

Even though its a pvE server quests exist that flag you for pvp - the one most associated with the guys original topic is when you have to fight the mounted blood elf in hellfire.
This guy flags you as pvp even though theres no warning it will in the quest text, he also patrols which means you are fodder for any level 80 passing over a large area. There are other quests that also flag players for pvp. made bold for paladins who obviously cant read and edit posts after a topic is locked.

Why should people who CHOSE pvE realms be forced not to do pvE (quests) because someone can come along and kill them because they get flagged fror pvp - sorry but that defies any form of logic.

Why do quests like that even exist on pve realms or at the minimum they should not flag you for pvp.

Second, flight masters and quest givers shouldnt be pvp enabled on pve realms.
Everyone is given a choice of the type of realm they want to play on, people specifically chose pve realms over pvp.
So why should they have to put up with griefers camping their quest givers and flightmasters, which is ultimately hindering their gameplay?

You dont even have a griefing policy for pve realms, in fact your only suggestion which many GMs have said to me and friends is "Read the pvp realm gaming policy - there is a pvp soluion".

But according to gaming policies the harrasment policy should be valid on a pve realm because;

Q u o t e:
The Ongoing Harassment policy does not apply on the PvP server when there is a PvP resolution available.

You say you wont remove pvp realms which of course is totally acceptible - but why dont you remove pvp from pve realms then? People chose not to be on pvp realms.
