Your account is inactive [Forum]

Ugh, so, whenever I log on my other account, which I usually post with, I get a message that my account is inactive and therefore I'm not allowed to post with it.
Now, I do understand that this most likely means that it has been banned, but is there not usually a message telling one, what the reason for the ban is? Also, I can't really recall any incidents, where I have done anything deserving a ban, unless my joke of beheading someone's hamster was considered a "Threat of Violence".

So uh, yeah, what was my question again? I can't really ask for the reason, since Blizzard discourages posting one's account name on the forum..

Well, what a useless post I went ahead and made..

It's very likely a simple login issue. Unfortunately the current login error message is somewhat deceptive, as it seems to cover almost every possibilty for not being able to log in.
