When has a patch been on time?

That a patch can run into trouble and have to be extended is not something to be surprised at. What surprises me though is the utter inability to make any predictions of downtime that are even close to reality.
Has there actualy been a single patch that has been on time? Not talking maintenance but a patch like 3.1.2 -> 3.1.3. Can you remember when that happened last?
