How can it be called, 'Bound to Account' when you can't trade it across realms or factions?
Kind of dissapointing.

It really is just a matter of semantics. The item is bound to your account, just that there are other game mechanics that prevent exchange between factions. If the game supported a way for bound items to be passed between characters of different factions, then it should work as written on the can. Sure, we could have named it such that it purely described only what you can currently do with it, but instead we chose not to restrict it from future possibility.

This is an invitation for you to elaborate, is there a serious chance of cross faction BoAs?
If we had some news to share, we'd let you know. As it is, it is also possible that one day crocolisks will be a playable race. It's possible! The likelihood is just as up for debate, though luckily for now I imagine my position as the only known talking crocolisk to be relatively secure. I was just hoping to explain some of the logic behind Bound on Account items from a slightly different perspective.

While you're in the area Wryxy my good crocolisk, I don't suppose you have any word on those new heirloom items Vaneras mentioned were coming out in 3.1? There are a fair few holes on the weapons area for heirlooms that could do with plugging, so to speak.
We have no more news to provide on this, except that we still intend to add new heirloom items over time. The information I'm currently looking at doesn't specify a date or patch number, however. This doesn't mean any previous mention was necessarily wrong, just that a previous intention may have changed.

Seems there is now news of heirloom chestpieces coming in 3.2. We intend for these to have a +10% experience bonus much like the existing shoulders. Currently this stacks with the shoulder's bonus, which as you can see is quite a nice little boost to experience gains.

What currency is used to buy these?
I'm not certain off hand, it could be an existing emblem or a new one.

I don't know if this has already been asked in this thread, but is there a reason why the team doesn't/haven't made the BoA being able to be send cross fraction? Is it technicaly just to difficult?
I'm pretty sure if our design team wanted items swapped between factions in anywhere but the Neutral Auction Houses, this would already be possible now. I suspect it isn't a case of how tricky it is to implement, but more that it wasn't something that we wanted to occur. It may be obvious from my choice of words that I am speculating.
