Match making rating (hidden). Confused...

May have been answered somewhere in the huge thread on the American sites, but it's alot to trail through.

Question 1: Does my hidden rating (MMR) alter regardless of bracket? 2vs2, 3vs3, 5vs5.
Question 2: If my match making rating falls below that of my team rating, does this effect the amount of points I can obtain from a win. (Assuming I played terrible in 3's and 5's but flourished in 2's).

Reason I ask is that my teams are doing horrible in 5's and 3's. My 2vs2 is coming along ok, although progress in terms of earned point has slowed right down (I assume this is because I'm getting closer to my MMR).

What I don't want to happen is that I do so badly in 3's and 5's that my MMR record flops, thus given easier teams in 2's, which a win would only give minor points.

Am I looking at this totally wrong, or is that a valid point, that playing 3's and 5's may effect your progress in 2's, and vice versa.

There is a separate MMR for the 2v2 bracket, the 3v3 bracket, and the 5v5 bracket. Playing poorly in one bracket does not affect the ratings or match ups in another.
