World Of Warcraft Europe?

Blizzard Post
Greetings,

Ok, first of all, I'm not creating this post with the purpose of making people mad, or creating useless fights/wars. I'm creating this post because I myself can't help but feeling a little frustrated and sad.

In summary, my question is: Why is that World Of Warcraft Europe does not cover all Europe? I'm not referring to the game itself, but to the 'extras' that come with it.

Every time there's a contest, for example, I can never participate in any of these because my country is not included in the list, even though it does belong to Europe. The following countries are the ones eligible for participating:

Q u o t e:
France, Belgium, The United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Ireland, Russia, The Netherlands, The Czech Republic, Croatia, The Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, and Hungary

Note: This does not applies to every event. Sometimes not all of these countries are eligible.

What about the rest of Europe? I certainly do not live in a large and big country but it is way larger than Luxembourg (no offense intended), so I guess the reason for "discrimination" (maybe a strong word for the case) is not there.
This makes me mad! I cannot access the "Global Arena Tournament", "Recruit a Friend", "Scroll of Resurrection", or any of the contests made by Blizzard. Yet, I do live in Europe.

Probably Blizzard does not see anything positive about making investments in all Europe, and they probably think it's a waste of time and money...yet...

I hope people can understand the reason why I'm creating such a topic, or raising such matter.
I believe people living in any of the countries included in the list may not care about this (I wouldn't either probably) but I hope they understand. I also believe countries not included in the list may be a minority, yet they belong to Europe.
Finally I believe this topic won't get far and nothing will change...I just needed to say it. I feel left aside.

Thank you.
Take care.

Q u o t e:
Q: Why can't players from all countries participate in your contests?
A: Unfortunately there are restrictions outside our control that apply to contests of this kind, and we as well as our sponsors have to abide by the laws and regulations of the different countries in Europe. Some restrictions apply due to the value of the prizes, some due to the nature of the contest - wherein the definition of "game of chance" is a tricky one. We do our best to work with (or around) this and adapt our contests to the different regulations, but we will not gamble with the law and must therefore exclude some countries from our contests. We will continue to adapt our contests, gather additional information and look into the fine details of national lottery and contest laws to try include as many countries as possible in the future.
