How does Blizzard justify giving a plate wearing self healing class with amazing burst DPS (in Ret spec) spells like bubble and lay on hands? What were they thinking? And what the heck is this holy spec? 2 holy paladins become unkillable..... The perfect flag defense.

Does Bliz even try to find balance or is the concept beyond them?

Top marks for the attempt at an attention grabbing thread title. Subtracting marks otherwise, though.

What concerns me is the idea that we aren't keenly aware of perceived impressions about classes -- we are. I think it goes without saying that class balance is one of the most trickiest things to achieve, especially if you're trying to avoid class homogenisation. Nobody would like that. Okay, I take that back, somebody would. But in the end, most people would like the classes to be unique.
