Too many threads. I can quite understand there are rules for a reason but I do see those rules being interpreted in any number of ways to lock a thread because it talks about topics Blizzard doesn’t seem to have answers for or doesn’t wont brought to people’s attention.

I've seen more threads locked about WOTLK than any other in all the time I've read these forums. A very large % of people honestly feel WOTLK lowered the enjoyment of the game and yes Mainly in PVP. But yet you see these threads locked and even bans given out because people dare say this out load. And that is only one example that I chose, there are many more.

I understand you don't have the freedom of speech on these forums as you do in RL. Its blizzards way or no way, pretty much how the whole game runs. But Blizzard has to understand they need to accept the feedback (worded in a polite and correct way of course) for the whole picture and not just the bits they like. There is always going to be problems in WOW because nothing is ever perfect. But to tell people you are taking their views in to consideration with changes and game balancing and then to lock those threads and give out bans because some one has dared make a thread about such subjects is not the way to advance the game.

I didn't make this thread to get it locked, upset admin or to get banned. I've had my fill of that on WOW forums. I made it to see how the forum community feels about the subject. I'm starting a discussion, where the outcome could be very us full for blizzard to watch.

Now keep the replies polite and constructive. No abuse or long winded moans about a set subject. The thread is about Blizzard locking too many threads, not about warriors being underpowered or how Spriest are too lame in PVP etc. Keep that in mind.

I'm pretty sure this thread will get locked but then I suppose that will only validate my claim but I'm not look for validate in that way.

I've quoted the part we stress to people who post on the forums. We do read, take in, pass on, acknowledge and appreciate such feedback when it is presented in such a way.

What we do not want to see and will not entertain is aimless spouts of terrible language, pointless criticism and tears without people thinking about what they're saying and being constructive, polite and courteous when posting.

What we ask is that people write a post, hit preview and read it over once or twice. Also, provide details as to how a problem or situation may be remedied by providing valid thoughts, research and where possible documentation to help explain or address a situation.

Saying 'Amg this is broken and you do %£"$^ all about it' is not what we want to see.

Saying 'Amg this is not right. This is why. This is what happens. This is how it could be looked into.' will do us all the world of good.

To add: Keeping within the forum guidelines is another must when posting:

Use a descriptive subject and refrain from using “Blizzard”, “blue”, a CM name or similar to get attention.
