Can a CM please post a link to Blizzard's statement of justification on charging for this expansion.

I would like to examin it, then post a whine about it.

This smells like trolling.

Feel free to ask the question, but do it in another manner (like not provoking flaming and even more trolling).

I can assure you this is in no way ment to be a troll post or insight flaming, im sorry if it looked that way. I do have a genuine greavence with TBC and us having to pay, I must say though I will be buying it as I love WoW too much and lets face it there is no point in playing the game without it....to me I have always looked at WoW as an unfinished project...or WoW as part 1 and TBC as part 2. I genually feel like Blizz is taking the4 mick by calling TBC an expansion when really its a nessesity...not a luxury to own it.

We pay 50m a month in fee's to blizz, there is in no way the cost of developing the expansion can justify having to charge its 5m subscribers £20 = £100,000,000 for somthing the game actually NEEDS to survive.

Just my feelings on it.

Ok, it sure looked like trolling (and the replies as well). Thanks for a better put post instead.

Anyways, to the question then:
Since I have seen some of the huge work being put into TBC I see no problem with paying for it. WoW gets updated with content patches all the time without extra cost (naturally, not saying it should cost) but this is so much more.

You can still play WoW without the expansion so no one is forcing you to buy anything.

That's the arguments drug dealers use.

Wow, that's a new low for this thread, to compare Blizzard with drug dealers.

I am a bit surprised by this thread, I really don't understand the big problem. It honestly feels like some people just want to complain about anything they can think of.

Anyways, TBC is well worth the money, if you don't want to try it out then don't buy it. You will be missing out on some great new stuff though, but that's your own choice. All the current content will still be there so it's not like you HAVE to buy it.
