Hello, my name is Magnic. I've just finished a 5v5 session with my mates and we were repeatedly outskilled by a team in top 10 in our battlegroup. After reading all the threads about how balanced DKs are and that only noobs consider DKs to be OP I tried to analyse why we lost. I cannot figure it out. Maybe some of you more intellectual wow players can help me?

I have some screenshots here that could influence your decision, these were all taken from the same fight. My mage friend has 720 resilience and I have 925 when my chaos deck procs:

For those of you who are afraid to click the links or simple cannot see the screenshots they depict runic weapons crits for 4k+, obliterates at 11.2k (on a 720 resi target). My personal favourite though is my time-stamped screenshots of where the DK uses 2 obliterates with 1 gcd between them for a total of 17.6k damage (9.1k +8.5k) on my 925 resi. I appreciate that some of you think that this might have been luck or a one time thing but I can confirm that the DK was consitently critting me for 8-9.5k. This was in arena and I was not sunder armored or otherwise debuffed. Note that my 720 mage friend takes over 17k in 1 s (1 6k white crit + 11.2k obliterate).

I'm obviously to stupid to realise this is balanced and totally due to the skill of the DK. Can someone explain to me exactly how this is balanced and how we counter it? Imo this brings faceroll to a whole new lvl..

Discuss please.
