Dual spec's minor fail.

This is my main, but I have two other characters that I was looking to level up to learn the two other main roles other than dps.
A priest for healing and a paladin for tanking.
I'm slightly annoyed with blizzards decision to only include dual-spec at maximum level. It would be very useful to be able to level a priest with dual spec, shadow with either holy/discipline in which case you could level with shadow and still enter instances as a healer to learn the ropes. It seems to me that now my priest is really becoming useless; and I'm not saying that all priests are, you know you're life savers <3.
Instead of levelling the two characters, now I'm only planning on levelling the paladin and setting up a dual spec at 80 - or as soon as it's released.
I understand that dual spec may be complicated to some newer users, but I believe it would benefit the comunity more if it was implemented at say, level 40/50/60. This would allow players, I suppose mainly priests, to level faster and for first-time non dpsers, as I will be, gain the knowledge of the role more efficently than if they simply re-specced at 80.
Also, not everyone has a desire to reach level 80. To some extent I believe that this is just blizzard prompting people to reach level 80, so it would be more likely for more people to purchase the next expansion.

Discuss ;).

The announced features and restrictions to the Dual Spec system are by no means final, and are as ever subject to change when we see the feature in place on the PTR. Given we hope to see the system on the PTR for some time it will no doubt yield some rather interesting results, and generate quite a bit of feedback which may alter our minds on how it will be rolled out on the live realms.

That is to say that changes may be made to the max level restriction of the Dual Spec system as well as the glyphing side of things if our studies show such change to be a pro, rather than a con. Given this system is a massive change to the game, it may well create changes in how the game is played that not even the best brains in the company could even begin to imagine, we shall see!
