Why is Blizzard failing

To fix the lag on so many realms, which is destroying raiding. I know this topic isn't exactly new or exciting. But I just can't understand how such a big, welthy company fails to straighten this out.

It has been months and months now..

Has Blizzard stated anywhere what's going on?

A lot of raidingguilds are transferring to empty/dead realms, but how ridiculous is that in all honesty.
