Q u o t e:
Blood of the North was the first of the Death Rune talents we implemented, largely to fill a hole in the deep Frost tree. At the time it needed to be 5 points or Frost had to backtrack a lot in order to go deeper.

But the other two trees ended up with cheaper versions of the talent and Frost has changed so much that I don't know that it needs to be 5 points any longer. This is something we might look at for 3.1.

I'm the only one that's really happy about this?

Sure we get 15% extra damage to blood strike, for the cost of two points more, but overall it still feels as it is to expensive.

However, if they choose to change this to a 3point talent, where should the last two go for 2H frost dps, frost tank and DW dps?

I'm quite intrigued of this and already playing around with Blood of the North only being a 3point talent.

What's your thought about Blood of the North and any possible change, because remember they might change it to still require 5point, but change the talent itself.

If they decide to change it, how do you think it should be?
