I think the time has come for you to start talking, and I mean really start talking, about the elephant in the room, which is the insufferable instance lag especially in heroic raids and during peak hours.
I think I speak for all raiders that currently suffer from this issue when I say that we are fed up. We are fed up with the condescending GM responses, the unhelpful blue posts, and mostly we are fed up with raiding.
Let me make my point very simple and lucid – This is not a flaming thread, the mere mission objective I want this thread to deliver would be the following:
• Define the issue; “Why is it happening”.
• Who is affected: “List of realms affected”
• When is it going to be fixed.
Now blues should be responsible for the first and third objectives, purely because the longer this issue remains unaddressed fully, people will start to wonder whether its an issue that even blizzard with all its might and grandeur wont be able to fix.
I mean my personal opinion could be that there is indeed a serious flaw in WotlK’s design that is causing this, which could drive me and other fellow raiders to simply give up on waiting for a fix.
Blizzard, you should know better than to leave your customers thinking on their own, you should give them something to think about.
Now getting down to business, to elucidate further to the blues what I’m talking about, I would gladly do it in one sentence. We raiders, at Kazzak and many other realms, are having severe and beyond the pale lag in 25-man raids, and no, its not only “minor lag”.
What I also would like from everyone who comes across this thread, is to simply reply with your realm name and if it is currently suffering from this problem. Even if your realm is not, I would like you to state it.
I know that the high population in Kazzak-EU is not helping, but it’s certainly not the absolute cause of this issue.
I sincerely hope this thread would deliver its objective, and that Blizzard would deliver theirs.
