Questions and thoughts about migration.

This is mostly a post with some ponders from my side, not i ever expect there could ever be a serious discussion on this forum or we will ever see a blizz answer on it.

Blizzard previously and always stated they would newer make migrations with 1 faction, which could help balance realms. Free migration from 1 faction only was not a choice. Thundgot said it several times.
And well this is the way its been and guess we all just accepted it to be the way it is. You can argue it is a we dont care policy, or we cant be arsed to try and balance but thats a diffrent discussion.

However now they suddenly allow horde migration from Magtheridon but not alliance, hey that is the thing they newer would do. Again it is nice to see they try to do something.

However, why only magtheridon, i wonder if blizz looked at other realms, eg try silvermoon, we lag like #!!%, balance is close to 1 horde pr 100 alliance player.

So what do you ppl think about it? Personally i get rather annopyed to see certain get profile servers get choices others dont. If you do it for 1 you do it for all. No matter how famous.

Did we actually say we'd never use it? I think we've said something along the lines of "free migration is not used for faction balancing" and "we don't use faction limitations on migration", both definitely true at the time it was said. I'd be very surprised if we actually said it'd never happen, and if we did it was poorly worded.

We're aware of the faction ratios on each realm, and will of course consider using faction migration in other cases too. No other realm has as bad ratio as Magtheridon though, hence it's the only realm being offered this so far. While we won't open for discussions of the ratio on each realm, your estimate of the Silvermoon ratio is a bit off - but I think you know that. ;)
