Just received an e-mail that i got invited for the Emerald dream alpha test.
World of Warcraft: Emerald Dream

You have been selected to participate in the alpha test of World of Warcraft: Emerald Dream. Welcome!

In the alpha test you\'ll get an opportunity to test the first zones of the new Emerald Dream continent, and the new levels above 80. We look forward to your feedback on the overall experience, including quests, monsters, zones, new classes, aesthetics, and more. We would also appreciate reports on any bugs you may encounter. These can be logged using the /bug command explained below.

Getting started:

In order to participate in the Alpha test, you must upgrade an existing retail account that has been upgraded with The Wrath of the Lich King, allowing you to connect to Emerald Dream test realms. The World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King client that you use must be patched up to version 3.0.2 or later to install the alpha test client.

Go to ********** and follow the detailed, step-by-step instructions to begin playing the Emerald Dream alpha.

Please be prepared to enter the current retail World of Warcraft account name, password, and more infomation to authenticate your eligibility to connect to Emerald Dream test realms. To participate in the alpha tests, you must have a valid retail World of Warcraft account active and in good standings as of November 13, 2008.

Please retain this email for your records. If you experience and issues setting up the alpha account or accessing the test realms, please email Technical Support at wowbetasupport@blizzard.com

Blizzard will never never never never never never ever ask for your password.

This!

We currently have no beta(or alpha) tests running for future expansion packs, so emails claiming to invite you to such a beta(or alpha) is a scam!

Blizzard email or scam email? Not sure? Then please take a moment to read this thread:

WRONG! That scam uses exact same words as the official beta invite (ok maybe not but), it just says be prepared to enter your details when you LOG IN TO THE SITE. Ofc they ask you password

I will repeat that we will never ask for your password!

However, you will of course need to enter your login information if you need to log into our sites. Scam mails are designed to fool you by imitating the official emails we sometimes send out, like the ones we sent out when we were running the TBC and WotLK beta tests, but those scam mails never link to our sites. If you receive an email that is supposedly an invite to a beta test, be sure to check if it links to our administration pages or beta invite and upgrade pages:

https://beta.wow-europe.com/expansion/

If you are still not sure that an email is authentic, then please contact us through our webform to ask for confirmation: http://eu.blizzard.com/support/webform.xml
