As per title: Did I miss the main WotLK event?

We had zombies, scourge invasion, few mobs in Stormwind city, some mobs fighting guards in Stormwind Harbour then.........Nothing?

What happened? Carnage? Mayhem? Destruction? Epic happenings?

Well now we have a giant mass of heroic adventurers invading Northrend... I hear the mobs are shaking with fear whilst following their predefined paths... ;-)
