No WOTLK:CE for South Africa - Shameful!

With great excitement I ordered my CE copy long ago from a very reliable supplier over here. This morning I receive an email from them stating this:

Sadly we have had to admit defeat. Due to the limited number of collectors editions worldwide and what seems to be a major misunderstanding of our local market, Blizzard has neglected to allocate the Collectors edition for South Africa. Not even 1!!.

Yes, South Africa is in Africa, and yes we do have internet, roads and running water here. We might be a smaller player base, but we love the game just as much as any other player. I pay my sub in euros which is eating through my pocket with the current world economics. How am I different? NOT EVEN *1* CE copy. It is quite shameful.

Anyone care to clarify the reasoning behind this?
