The albino drake and Taurens (not a whine)

I know a lot of people talked about this subject before, and I tried to find old topics but kinda failed in finding one that gave a answer to my question (or I am just bad in searching but oke)

The new achievement system is coming, and I really love it becouse I am a big collector of all kind of things that most other players find a waste of time. One of the things I really enjoy if farming reputation and getting the faction exalted rewards like tabards and mounts.

And id like to talk about the taurens and mounts, in combination with the new achievement that will reward you with a albino drake when you collect 50 unique mounts.

At this moment, I am exalted with 30 factions, and I bassicly got every mount available for my race (except the chicken from mgt, and the mounts that you get with the trade cards and engeneering) wich brings me to a total amount of 46 mounts

2 brewfest mounts
5 kodo’s from thunder bluff
6 wolves from orgrimmar
8 talbuks from mag’thar
1 armani warbear
6 netherwing drakes
5 nether rays
7 wind riders
1 hippo from cenarion expedidtion
1 zebra from the recruit a friend
3 pvp mounts
1 wolf from av

Now I can understand why blizzard made the mounts that are a drop available for every race, just to keep things fair for every player and prevent huge complain threads on the forums, who doesn’t like a mount that is a rare drop?

Taurens cant ride chickens, so we cant buy the silvermoon and the pvp chicken
Taurens cant ride horses, so we cant buy the undercity horse and the pvp horse

But there is one thing that confuses me a bit, why can taurens buy the pvp raptor, but cant they buy the raptors from the darkspear trolls?

I guess there is a good reason behind it, but im afraid I miss it here, becouse I cant see the logic compared to the how this works with the 2 examples above.

The reason I post this? Well I was hoping if things could be tweaked so that every race has a chance to complete this achievement (and get the drake) without the new mounts that will be released in wotlk (taurens bassicly need 1 horde faction type of mount and things will be even)

And yea I wont lie about it, I would love to get this mount asap :P simply becouse it rocks and I want to be able to get it as fast as any other race in this game :)

edit: i just found a simular post in tbe test forums but ill just post it and try to get a serious discussion instead of a whine fest like the other thread, ow yea for your info: i play this char from day 1 and back then i didnt know anything about race vs mounts etc :)

This is a valid concern for sure, so it should come as good news that we want to change this achievement to make things a little more fair for the Tauren. We plan to re-tune it around the mounts that are available to Tauren, although it will still be easier for other races to complete this achievement.
