Petition:NO to Arena for crappy blue gear !

After (those of us who play on the Coldera WOTLK beta server) have reached EPIC LONG threads on the beta forums , about the fact that Blizzard is FORCING Arena down your throat whether you like it or not. I
In the threads there is nobody that actually thinks (not even the PVE fanbois ...think about that) the change is a good change at all, they all agree Blizzard reached all time low doing this.


its time to make a statement here on the wow-europe forums to let Blizzard know this change is unacceptable.

Basically there is 3 arena sets for each season now in WOTLK. 2 upper tier Epic sets where the lowest tier set requires quite high arena rating on ALL pieces, and the upper tier set where there is just very high rating requirements on all pieces.

The thing is the lowest tier set, that is blue quality, requires ARENA POINTS in addition to honor, so not only it is blue (the color is not important as long as You can PVP with it) but you are FORCED to Arena to be competitive in ANY Battleground !

Now if you look at all the unhappy posts in the beta forums there are THOUSANDS of players that loate Arenas and only care for Battlegrounds. As the game is not shipping yet we can still tell Blizzard this change is unacceptable.

NB ! the arena points You get currently for Lake Wintergrasp is ONLY for test purposes, already confirmed by blue post, so no need for "you get arean points for WIntergrasp posts" :-)
