17/09 Free character migration

Due to population differences between the highest and lowest populated PvP realms, the following Free Character Migration will be available from September 17th to September 23rd:

From: Frostmane, Kazzak, Stormscale
To: Xavius

Please note that this migration may be closed at any time should a destination realm's population rise too high.

If you have any questions about this specific migration, please feel free to add them below. However, note that migration is opened based on realm population analysis, not popular demand, so requests for other free migrations will not be responded to.

Why from these high-populated realms to Xavius?
Free character migration (FCM) is used to address queues and population difference. We don't expect a massive amount of people to take this opportunity, but those who do will do a service to both realms and that's the essence of the FCM. Other migrations may open next week, but for this week we wanted to open this very limited one as a start.

Is this to address the concerns of the Ruin Battlegroup?
No, this is an isolated effort to increase the population on Xavius and reduce the queues on the source realms.

We added some Q&A style explanation in the second post now. We don't expect a massive amount of people to migrate, but those who do help both realms.

People who wouldn't personally move don't need to spam the thread to get their opinion across. We've removed some of the responses, but will leave the others above to represent that view. Thank you for respecting that others might have other priorities and considerations in mind when deciding whether to migrate or not. ;-)

So thank you everyone for letting that be the last post in this thread discouraging people from moving or claiming nobody will move. I'm sure everybody is quite capable of reading the earlier posts about that, and repeating the same song over and over isn't needed. ;-)
