If you enjoy the music from Blizzard Entertainment games and have ever thought about ordering the soundtracks, doing so just got more convenient. Six soundtrack albums have just been added to a new Blizzard hub page within the iTunes music store, and are available for purchase and download. The StarCraft, Diablo II, Warcraft III, World of Warcraft, and The Burning Crusade soundtracks are all there, as is the Taverns of Azeroth album, which had been exclusively sold at BlizzCon 2007.

For more information, check out the official announcement, or head over to the Blizzard iTunes page:

The "Lion's Pride" from Tavens of Azeroth and the "Tavern" track from the original WoW soundtrack is based on the same composition. "Tavern" is shorter though, which is a shame since I like the musical arrangement better. It sounds as if there's a horn blowing a very deep tone through the session. It sounds like a didjeridoo or something like that.

The melody itself has a huge potential of becomming a grand number. Everytime I listen to it I'm thinking of the short drum-solo in Erinn Shore from The Corrs' first album (forgiven, not forgotten). I can only hope that it's not the last I've heard from that specific tune.

I love this track so much, I get chills down my spine every time I hear it :-)

It was such an amazing experience to hear the "Lions Pride Inn" performed live at the WWI:
