Can you sell a account ?

I Know you are not allowed to sell accounts but can you sell it and give your cash to Charity? If not maybe blizz should look into this and take all those accounts that are about to be deleted or ppl who are want to sell and give the cash to a charity. They could take control of it and make sure it is done right.
The reason i ask this is cause i am giving up wow . I have put alot of time into this game over the last few years feel it would be a waste just to delete my acc there for i would like to put it on bid and give all to charity
would be nice to see a blizz reps thoughts on this thnxs
