Anub'Arak take 2?

So, as we all saw there was recently a thread about Anub'arak, the right hand of the lich king and one of the most powerfull beings in existence on Azeroth being a 5 man level 72 mob (wont even use the word boss, since he isnt even heroic or 80), Which right away got locked.

Now the main excuse was that it was a "petition thread" which was indeed included in the title, however the replies in it was not "/signed, /signed, /signed" but rather actual replies and reasons why this is wrong and going too far!

Now, the options are the following:

1) Said GM didnt bother to read the thread just saw "petition" in title and locked it.
2) They dont like the thought of a long thread about how they made a huge mistake and decided to try and strangle it.
3) Said GM didnt care about whether the thread was valid or not.

So, since this isnt a petition, and the forums are here for players to discuss and provide feedback about the game: What do you think of Anub'Arak having been reduced to a lowly 5 man mob to be discarded? (You cannot speculate "they will bring him back" because by the time icecrown "might" come out, its too late to save anything if your "guess" wasnt valid, so all we can go by so far is that he will be killed off)

Discuss, but no "signed" please ^^

Q u o t e:
Wrong. The first page was full of /signed and not many of the replies were very constructive. Besides, the OP was silly enough to type out PETITION in the topic wich is like asking for a lock..

Exactly. It is the role of moderation to maintain the forum rules and try not to allow blatant exceptions.

So please continue constructive posts on the subject, which are always welcomed, and don't turn this into a petition thread. Careful pruning of "/signed" posts slows down our ability to deliver feedback to developers, and post up interesting information in the forums when we have it to post.

And while I'm at it, express yourselves. Put a bit of energy in your replies as long as they're not abusive. But please do not swear. Posts with even filter-caught swearing get removed and it's often a shame when there's just one in an otherwise constructive post.
