Live: 10.5 haste rating for 1% haste
PTR: 15.7 haste rating for 1% haste

Blues Are you mad? Why nerf rogues even more?
Not all melees have warglaive or dragonsprine trophy =-=.

And caster get buff spell haste rating ? WTF is this?
They're long range, they should get less rating not us who always eat AoE, move all the time and prone to those cleave...

This is madness. I need blue tag here. What the #*@* is this nerf to rogue and all other melee dps again? You didnt help us with our situation in PvP arena and yet nerf our dps in PvE. Please confirm this is it just a Bug or it's a melee dps nerf?

Firstly the moderator part of me has to say: let's keep it civil, guys.

Secondly, concerning the 'nerf': I have heard nothing about it.

I'll take note of this and look into it for you.

As promised, here is your update:

The haste changes which have been spotted on the Public Test Realm are indeed intentional.

The reason for this is that with enough +haste rating the need, and therefore desire, for +attack power items was being greatly reduced.

Haste was never meant to replace Attack Power, but this is what was beginning to happen and it was decided that this change was necessary before it became too good, too quickly.

Ok, so 'replace' was a poor choice of wording. The point is that Haste was becoming near to, or as good as, Attack Power, and it scaled a lot better.

The changes were made based on this fact.
