21/07 WWI & BlizzCon Beta Codes

We have some information to share regarding the beta codes received by those who attended the 2008 Worldwide Invitational or the 2007 BlizzCon. These codes are going to be used for the Wrath of the Lich King beta test.

If you do have a beta code from one of these events, we urge you to register it immediately and without delay. Full details on how to register your code can be found at the following page:

Well we haven't said you can, and you may detect more than just a hint of prompting in the wording we used. We continue to advise you to register the code without delay; I'd hate to see you missing out on using the key.

We were advised to inform that the registration requires urgency. When we have more clear and specific information, we'll post it up.

It appears there might be issues with some stickied messages. A similar issue occurred with a sticked thread in the WotLK forum by MVP Schwick. I've unstickied the message, and stickied it again. Can you see it now? :-) We're attempting a forum restart to prevent this from re-occurring.

Absolutely we do. We're trying to find information on both the "Beta Code Already Claimed" message and the no confirmation email issue. We'll post as soon as we are able to help with this.

I am pleased to inform you that we have some helpful information to share with you in response to the queries about the "Beta Code Already Claimed" message and no confirmation email.

If you are experiencing difficulty with registering a beta code from either WWI or BlizzCon, please can you email our US Customer Support directly as they are dealing with queries about this particular issue. We ask if you can try and ensure this email is in English please.

The email address you need to write to is:
WowExpansionBeta@blizzard.com

Please include:

• The Beta key you are trying to register.
  
• Your name you registered it with.
  
• The email address you used to register it with.
  
• Your account name.
  
• A description of exactly which issue you are experiencing.

Depends on the issue I guess. The issue I mentioned, goes to the email address I posted. Your email seems to list other possible issues, which would be more fitting for that email address.

We're not commenting on information from fansites. However, when we do have some official information to post regarding this, we will do so I assure you. In the meantime we appreciate your continued patience and understanding.
