Blizzard: Give pallies their dignity back!

We have been called the least useful class by today's top raiding guilds. And as a paladin, that worries me. When people see us in battlegrounds and arenas, they think "great, easy target" while other melee classes like MS warriors would cause some panic if they came running towards you over that wsg field. We used to at least have the title critadin, but look at us now. We have become buffbots, even passed by hunters on damage meters as we are busy with tasks like buffing people who died.

And something has to be done. Ever since the TBC release, things have been going in the wrong direction. Take a look at the latest patch notes for instance. "Dispel effects will no longer attempt to remove effects that have 100% dispel resistance." Well EXCUSE me?! Can't we have that at least? It's not like I am not happy about the Blessing of Light bug fix, but giving people crappy useless buffs is the only thing you will give us?

Then have a look at our buffs. Free blessings for everyone... wheee! We are dependent on other classes to buff us up so we can do our job. What about sanctity aura, you say? Do people even notice that nowadays? I mean... come on!

So I beg you Blizzard: At least give the paladins damage and deadliness back. Give us our dignity back.
