Current Base Ability Changes (Dated 06/09/08, build 8885)

*** NEW Abilities *** (subject to change)


    - Divine Plea - level 71, regenerates 25% of your total mana over 10 but reduces healing done by 50%.
    - Shield of Righteousness - level 75, 6% base mana, 6 second cooldown, requires Shield
    Slams the target with your shield, causing Holy damage equal to 100% of your block value. This spell causes a high amount of threat.
    - Sacred Shield - level 80, 35 mana, 30 second cooldown, 40 yards
    Each time the target takes damage they gain a Sacred Shield, absorbing 500 damage and increases the critical hit chance of Flash of Light by 50%. They can only gain this effect once every 6 seconds. 30 second duration (3,000 total absorbed, or 100 DPS).


Base Mechanics Changes

    - Critical strike rating now effects both melee and spell critical hit rating.
    - Hit rating now effects both spells and melee.
    - Many spells now scale with base attack power instead of with level. All Seal ranks have been removed bar the first.
    - Forbearance now lasts 3 minutes.
    - Both paladin horse summons no longer cost mana nor invoke the global cooldown.
    - Spell pushback mechanics have changed. Spells may only be pushed back a maximum of two times if they are cast time spells, each one for 0.5 seconds up to a maximum of 1 second per cast spell. Channeling spells lost 50% of their duration per hit. Talents are being altered accordingly.
    - All spells of all ranks now cost a fixed percentage of base mana. Downranking is no longer possible.
    - Mana now visually regenerates.

    - All Auras now affect all party and raid members within the area of effect.
    - Many abiliites have new icons!


Offensive Abilities

    - Avenging Wrath no longer causes Forebearance, damage increase reduced to 20%, now increases healing done by 20%.
    - Hammer of Wrath is now instant cast.
    - Hammer of Wrath is now considered a Retribution spell, moved from Holy, mana cost reduced, missile speed increased, now usable on targets below 35% health.
    - Hammer of Wrath now scales with attack power
    - There are currently three individual Judgements. Light, Wisdom, Justice. Judging Seals with these abilities judges the target with the Judgement of its namesake.
    - Consecration now scales with attack power. Spell power coefficient reduced.


Defensive Abilities

    - Divine Intervention cooldown reduced to 20 minutes.
    - Divine Protection now reduces all damage taken by the paladin by 50% but decreases the paladin's attack speed by 50%. No longer drops aggro.
    - Divine Protection and Divine Shield now cost 3% of base mana.
    - Divine Protection and Divine Shield no longer share the same cooldown.
    - Lay on Hands no longer drains all mana, cooldown reduced to 20 minutes.
    - Holy Shield (Protection) cooldown reduced to 8 seconds.
    - Retribution Aura damage increased (110+) and now gains damage based on Holy spell power.
    - Righteous Fury now increases threat caused by Holy damage by 90%.
    - Righteous Defense no longer invokes the global cooldown and no longer costs any mana.
    - Concentration Aura now works alongside the new format of spell pushback and now reduces the effect of any spell pushback by 35%.


Blessings and Hands

    - Blessing of Freedom renamed Hand of Freedom. Only one Hand spell can be on the target per paladin at any one time. Now costs 6% of base mana.
    - Blessing of Protection renamed Hand of Protection. Only one Hand spell can be on the target per paladin at any one time. All ranks now cost 6% of base mana.
    - Blessing of Sacrifice renamed Hand of Sacrifice, is now only 1 rank and transfers 30% of the damage taken to the caster, duration reduced to 12 seconds, cooldown increased to 2 minutes. Only one Hand spell can be on the target per paladin at any one time. Now costs 6% of base mana.
    - Blessing of Salvation renamed Hand of Salvation, now reduces total threat on the target by 2% per second for 10 seconds. Only one Hand spell can be on the target per paladin at any one time. Now costs 6% of base mana.


Seals and Judgements

    - Seal of Wisdom now restores a set percentage of total mana
    - Judgement of Wisdom now restores a set percentage of total mana up to a maximum of every 4 seconds when an attack is made.

    - All Seals now have a duration of two minutes
    - All Seals now proc from special weapon attacks.
    - Judgement is now on the global cooldown
    - Judgement debuff effects may now proc only once every 4 seconds
    - All Judgements have new coefficients. Please check coefficient post.
    - Seal of Light now has one rank.
    - Seal of Wisdom now has one rank.
    - Seal of Vengeance damage over time effect duration increased to 18 seconds.
    - Seal of Vengeance now has a 100% proc chance.
    New Ability: - Seal of Corruption, Horde. As Seal of Vengeance.
    - Seal of Command now has one rank. Judgement scaling altered.
    - Seal of Justice now has one rank. Effects of rank 2 Judgement rolled into rank 1.
    - Judgement of Justice will no longer prevent Fear effects, only prevent NPCs from fleeing (e.g. at low health).
    - Seal of Blood has had Judgement scaling altered.
    New Ability: - Seal of the Martyr, Alliance. As Seal of Blood.


Anti-Undead

    - Turn Evil now granted at level 24, mana cost changed to 9% of base.
    - Holy Wrath is now instant cast, causes a 3 second stun, cooldown reduced to 30 seconds, radius reduced to 10 yards.
    - Exorcism and Holy Wrath now scale with attack power. Spell power coefficients reduced.

The Graveyard of the Forgotten

    - Seal of the Crusader has been removed. The effects of Judgement of the Crusader have been folded into all relevant abilities.
    - Greater Blessing of Salvation removed.
    - Blessing of Light and Greater Blessing of Light removed. Their effects have been folded into all relevant abilities.
    - Sanctity Aura (Retribution) removed.
    - Judgement removed.



Talent Changes (aka Musical Chairs)

Holy

    - Spiritual Focus moved to tier 1.
    - Improved Seal of Righteousness moved to tier 1, renamed Seals of the Pure, now affects Seal of Righteousness, Seal of Vengeance and Seal of Corruption.
    - Divine Intellect moved to tier 2, increases total Intellect by 3/6/9/12/15%.
    - Unyielding Faith moved to tier 2.
    - Healing Light moved to tier 2.
    - Holy Shock range changed to 20/40 yards when used on enemies/friends respectively, cooldown reduced to 6 seconds.
    - Illumination moved to tier 3.
    - Sanctified Light now also increases the critical chance of Holy Shock.
    - Pure of Heart reduced to 2 ranks, now reduces duration of Curse and Disease effects by 25/50%.
    - Enlightened Judgements now increases chance to hit by 4% in addition to its current effect.
    - Beacon of Light now makes the target a beacon of light, allowing all heals landing on party members within 40 yards to heal the target for 100% of their effect. Only one target may be effected at any given time. Instant cast, 35% mana.


Protection

    -Blessing of Kings moved to teir 1, now increases total stats by 2%.
    - (New Talent) Improved Blessing of Kings now increases total effect of Blessing of Kings by a further 2/4/6/8% to a maximum of 10% total.
    - Anticipation moved to teir 2.
    - Avenger's Shield cast time reduced to .5 seconds, duration increased to 10 seconds.
    - Improved Devotion Aura moved to tier 4, reduced to 3 ranks, now increases armor of Devotion Aura by 17/34/50% and increases all healing done to units affected by Devotion Aura by 2/4/6%.
    - Blessing of Sanctuary now reduces all damage taken by 3%. In addition every attack that is dodged, parried or blocked restores 2% mana, 1 rage or 2 runic power.
    - Toughness now reduces the duration of all movement impairing effects by 6/12/18/24/30%. Moved to teir 3.
    - One Handed Weapon Specialisation now increases all damage by 2/4/6/8/10%.
    - Divine Guardian no longer effects Divine Protection.
    - Improved Hammer of Justice now reduces cooldown by 10/20/30 secs.
    - Improved Righteous Fury threat bonus folded into base spell, talent still reduces all damage taken by 2/4/6%.
    - Combat Expertise now also increases critical hit chance by 6%.
    - Stoicism moved to tier 2, now reduces duration of Stun effects by 10/20/30%.
    - Guarded by the Light now reduces the mana cost of Consecration, Holy Wrath and Avenger's Shield by 30% and now also reduces all spell damage taken by 6%.
    - Redoubt moved to teir 8 and now also increases your block value by 10/20/30%.
    - Hammer of the Righteous now does 3 times your weapon's DPS to all three targets.
    - Spell Warding removed, effect folded into Guarded by the Light.
    - Shield Specialisation removed. Effect folded into Redoubt.

Very nice thread. Most certainly worth a blue-tag :-)

Keep in mind though that this is data from the beta, which means that it may very well be outdated quite fast as changes most likely will occur quite often with the many beta client updates.
