Tigole is killing wow

Tigoles continued blinkered view on the simple fact that less than 10% of players visit hi end instances and his need to create the best content for this 10% is chipping away at wow one day at a time.

I am staggered by this mans view of the game, when the figures clearly show what we all know is the truth. Tigoles recent avoidance of the question tells us all we need to know. This man is the lead designer, he will know exactly how many raid and how many do not. Instead of telling us how many raid, he just tells us Krara is the most popular instance and hopes that we all stupid enough to believe him. .

You can hide under rock and design the game for your own personal fun, but wow is no-longer the power house it was in Europe, while it may be growing in Asia it is on the decline in Europe, and I am sure America will follow. The terrible mistakes you made with BC, shows you do not have a plan and you are flying by the seat of your pants. Before BC was released, instance content at 60 and professions should have been adjusted accordingly. The mistakes on Attunement, and the jump from 10 to 25 man instances in BC is almost amateurish. Your single minded attitude against PVP, the End game of the future is just stunning.

The implementation of the Death Knight seems like a last minute desperation, as if you had nothing else to put in and thought hey, why not do this. The death knight seems to have had no thought put into it what so ever. By now, you should know exactly how it is going to fit init the game, if you do have this great plan you keep telling us about.

How do they intend to improve their X-Pac, by revamping naxramrus to 25 man, re-working the old content that no-one ever got to see and not only repeating their mistake, but repeating it with exactly the same content because they are to sad to make new content that we can’t go to.

Rome and every other power in the world was killed from within, this game will be no different. The raid or die scenario is here to stay and will alienate 90% of players from the best content that you spend the most time working on, while you are raking in the cash now, more and more people are turning away and will break the hold sooner or later. This not only tarnishes wow by allowing this man to continue on this ridiculous course, but it also tarnishes the whole of blizzard and peoples confidence of the games in the future.

Here are some of the things that should have been done with TBC.

Black rock spire instances should have been moved to lvl 55 and all amour sets put onto quest-able gains. This would have brought them alive again for all the new players and old.

Molten core, Nax and black-wing should have been reduced to ten-man and their gear attuned to match outland, again putting the armour sets on quest-able gains instead of drops. This would have opened them up to new players.

All high end lvl 60 crafting professions should have been retuned to match the new content, so that it was easier to create.

I know you all say that would have been hard, but not really, blizzard keep telling us they have a plan for wow. Well I am someone who just made maps and mods for all the fps game like quake, medal of honour and unreal series. But even I could have foreseen the need for these changes, blizzard should have to, but they are lead by people who just don’t see the big picture, a long term goal. Wow could last ten years, at the top, but instead, people are already board, fed up, or have just given up.

I play wow because my family play and I like to play with them. I cannot see that continuing for to much longer. I still believe now that if they stopped trying to please the minority with the elite loot raid or die philosophy and got back to the adventure that was wow, this game could be great again.

Tigole, open the game up to the masses, stop treating it like your personal project and make content for everyone.

For those who want to post and just say quit, well I’m going to hang on a bit longer to see if thing improve, as I believe wow could be great again.

For those who think people just want free epics, well sorry to burst your bubble, but we all pay for them, even if it’s just your monthly fee. There is no such thing as free epic, unless you are a Raider leecher, a pvp leecher, yes you do have both in large numbers.

Saracen, although your post started some interesting discussion about the game itself, I don't much appreciate your tactic of singling out one person from Blizzard and trying to put all the blame on them.

If you don't agree with the way things are going, feel free to post your opinion and your arguments. Sollicit discussion in a positive and/or constructive way; whether you agree with our philosophy or not, that's fine.

Just don't stoop to using thrill seeking subject lins to get people to read your thread. If you have a good point, people will be interested in reading and discussing anyway.
