Dear Ommra, A Vanishing Service

Blizzard Post
Dear Ommra (a Blizzard Representative),

Initial Note: This reply might come a bit late, due to forum log in problems. Also, please ignore this char's level, this isn't my only character, nor account.

After reading your post on one of the more recent threads (thread: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=35373778&sid=1, post: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=35373778&postId=369708486&sid=1#83), I felt I had to step-up and tell you something of my own.
This post isn't friendly to you, yet note the lack of personal insults, capitalized title, vulgar language and/or advertisements.

I would refer you to the continued problem of the dysfunctional Vanish, a 5-minute-cooldown Rogue-defining ability. This problem has been raised more than once, having more than one snapshot, more than one film, and more than one combat-log proof.

I care not re-explaining it to you, my dear representative, but turn you to my fellow Rogues (customers) who have much to tell you about this defining ability bug, and the ignorance issuing from the company, and its representatives regarding it.

EU Bugs Forum
No such thing. There is no bug.

Vanishing "Concerns"
Not once have I came upon the kind of light-phrasing: "some Rogues feel a concern that <blablabla>, we will be looking into this matter".

I have two problems with this kind of phrasing:
  • 1. There is 0 admittance to the existence of a bug. Rogues die from it, frustration grows, forum threads pile, yet the bug has no existence.
  • 2. The PR-oriented lightness of phrasing "some Rogues" and "feel a concern", is completely out of place. It is somewhat annoying. A more realistic phrasing with less sugar-coating, my dear representative, might be along the lines of: "some customers note a continued ignorance from the company".
Suggestion: do a little less "looking" and a little more "fixing". Its been longer than enough.

The Recent Thread (you in specific)
Half of the way to solving a problem, is admitting it. Dysfunctional 5-minute Vanish is not even admitted.
In your reply (and now I am specific) to the original poster, Niar I believe was the name, was utter ignorance to the problem. With choice, you focused bad-wordily on the thread's title, having been capitalized, and locked it down. Signaling shutting customers mouths.

Understand, dear representative, that the purpose of locking capitalized threads is found in true cases of "Z0MGG MY UB3R 1337 TOON CRITS 9K!!!11" thread titles. This however came from a complete different place ... from frustration. Allow me to make the point yet clearer dear representative: CUSTOMER FRUSTRATION (capitalization as expected). Choosing to lock such a thread, providing 0 information, having your comment, goes to show little more than poor bad-mannered work. Your work.

In addition and not withdrawing; instead of writing "Bigger chance of an answer that way" - do try to rise above yourself with such wisdom filled comments, and provide such answer right there. Assuming you even have one.

Expected Response
I see three ways for you to respond:
  • 1. No response. Ignore thread. Ignore problem. My primary guess.
  • 2. Post irrelevant reply. Write about me, my thread, my choice of words - and continue to ignore bug. Provide 0 bug-related information.
  • 3. Lock/delete thread. My expectations for a decent bug-reply from you are not too high right now. As well as your ability to take critisism, less likely improve service / comments.

Bottom Line
Being your customer, I grade your job performance as: Poor and Bad-Mannered

I yet find fun in the game in other places, however poor bad-mannered representatives such as yourself may in time affect my fun. And fun, as you know dear one, may affect me and my close friends's paid subscriptions in turn.

As mentioned before: no personal insults (arguments are professional only), no capitalized title, no vulgar language, no spamming and/or advertisements.
Feel free to lock my thread, delete it, and/or ban me.

Disappointed reading your work Ommra,
Flames welcomed,

~ Stabz

Blizzard Post
Please observe the extended forum guidelines when posting, including the part about using a Blizzard representative's name in the subject line.
http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=10701098&sid=1

That goes for threads with unnecessary caps and other violations of the forum rules, regardless of frustration level. I also suggest not making it a personal issue like you do. There are guidelines on this side of the fence too.

Thank you for remembering and respecting that.
