Why so low priority on player housing?

A real MMORPG needs housing!

Knowing this is a recurring topic, I still would like to say that in my opinion it's a greal lack, not having any player housing.

I also realize it would be a huge change, and added database load requiring more hardware... but hey,
a real MMO should have some kind of player housing! There are plenty of empty houses in major cities, to hide housing instances into, for example. (As EQ2 has done it.) I could even live without craftable furniture etc, just throw in some trophies that you can loot and show off in your house/flat.

Really amazing this wasn't put in from the very beginning.

Slate it for next expansion please?

This is indeed a recurring topic, but I'm afraid that we don't have much new to say.

The developers like the idea of player and guild housing and they would most certainly like to implement it at some point in the future, however there are no immediate plans for implementing it at any time soon.

There is a long list of things that the developers would like to add to the game and this is just one of them :-)
