Most of the rogues i see everywhere are either wielding maces or swords is it that daggers aint good anymore, im guessing that for a human wielding daggers is a waste because of the racials on maces and swords.
So wielding daggers is from yesteryear??

And what about when i reach arenas, am i forced to go maces to be more effective??

Faster weapon = less energy cost on shiv. For example, a 1.5 Speed offhand will make Shiv cost 35 energy, whereas a 1.8 speed offhand will make Shiv cost 38 energy.
