Cancel Account.

I thought i was going to quit wow so i clicked cancel account on my account part on the site,

but if i cancel my account does it mean it cancels my subscription or completely cancel my account deleting all my characters, because in a few weeks after my birthday im signing up again

(it said i could play till 25th of august)
