Feedback for Elemental Shaman

Getting Chain Lightning baseline in Elemental is nice, but what would have been nicer is keeping 5 targets, and not the actual 3 targets it is at the moment. That means, without overloading or stormkeeper, every Chain Lightning will generate 12 maelstrom at most, instead of 20. With Earthquake and Earth Shock costing 60 maelstrom, we need to go from 3 chain lightning to 5 if there are 5+ targets.

It feels weird to have Storm Elemental at the far right of the elemental tree, while everything about lightning bolt being on the far left. Maybe putting Storm Elemental earlier in the tree, but still after Fire Elemental, would be better ?

Following the same logic, Windspeaker’s Lava Resurgence, is in the middle of the talents about Lighting bolt, and far away from anything about Lava Burst (apart from Primordial Wave, but that’s it). I’d say, swapping Storm Elemental and WLR would be great, but maybe too great ?

If I’m not mistaken, Icefury buff duration on retail is 30s, and on the alpha it is 15 seconds. Coupled with the talent Flux Melting, that increases the damage of Lava Burst after using Frost Shock (non stackable), it feels almost as if I was locked into using those two, and felt bad when using two Frost Shocks back to back because I did not have a Lava Burst to cast in between.

Apart from those, I like the new Elemental tree allowing gameplay focusing on lightning or fire, really digging the fantasy part of the specialization.

Flash of Lighting really complements the lightning build and I feel should stay like that.
Feedback for Shaman
- The comeback of Gust of Wind is a blessing to a class that is starved of mobility. Ghost wolf is nice, but on a short distance, not so much. Giving it to every specializations is a good thing.
- Totem fantasy is back and I think it is in a good spot - bringing some utility but not having the class to revolve around it as a gameplay.
- The addition of the current anima power that gives bonus HP when using Earth Elemental, and the ankh talent are really good choices to give some bulk to the shaman.
- I really like the Astral Shift talents to adapt the defensive cooldown to the situation, it feels like a true choice.
