2) 40 man raiding allowed more scope for development. The more people in a raid, the more complexity allowed and the better the rewards should be.
3) The classic "Warcraft Feeling". Let's face it, BC hasn't had the same level of excitement to it with the event and dungeons, compare this Sunwell Plateau event with the AQ opening? It's simply not comparable!
4) Flying mounts spoilt PvP for us all. When your opponent can see you coming and whizz off at 310% speed, it's simply not fair!
5) Murlocs. Since BC opened there has been only a few Murlocs added, well live ones at any rate, and they're all low level. Clearly having a separate development team (which I'm sure you can afford), would allow you to develop more instances and zones with the monsters we all love so much, Murlocs, Furbolgs and so on.
6) A 60 cap and large raid instances mean that it's a return to classic values too, where raid progression brings with it superiority, both in raiding and PvP. This makes sense, if you can kill an old god, you can certainly splat a gnome.
7) More challenges in specialisation; With the number of talent points available to a level 70 it's perfectly possible to pick up two key talents in two different talent trees, whcih trivialises the whole concept of specialisation.
8) Less gold to farm. Pre-BC we didn't have the innumerable gold sinks which we have now, no 5k riding skill, no 2k mounts or 1K titles. We had the chance to focus on what was needed and necessary rather than having spurious wastes of gold, and time, like these.
9) Real Lore; Pre-BC the lore was truly epic, we had old gods, liches, dragons and elementals. Surely you can see that this is far better than three flavours of elf and a couple of random giant monsters?
