Can anyone confirm that badge loot will be immediatly buyable tmow with 2.4 launch? Or will the opening have to be done?

One does not simply walk into the Sunwell!

It is expected that it will take quite some time before the "Anvil" and the new badge vendor that accompanies it to become available. It will most likely take a month or so to achieve this, but of course that is something that will differ from realm to realm.

Doing all of the daily quests related to the Shattered Sun Offensive will be helping your realm's overall progress in taking each part of the island. It is most certainly worth doing the daily quests, because the more people who will do them, the faster things will become available :-)
