Twinks

Yet another topic regarding twinks.

This thread is pointed out to Blizzard and i would like all people who dont even like twinks to leave it alone as they dont have any business here.

To continue my post;

I reached 20 today on my twink after playing it for 1.2 years and putted around 4k gold in it.
A lot of people where shocked and i was crying for not knowing what it was all about. Unfortunately someone from the wsg team ( that someone is a guildy) decided to level me in SW keep as there spawn Onyxia's guards mobs often. He knew i would level by that. After that happened me and 4 other people from the guild opened up a ticket to disscuss this. To get GM's whispering us with "We cant reduce your level as this game is meant to level up for end game features". While that is not true, every twink pay's the same amount of money as level 70's to buy the prepaid cards. But we dont get the same service... How come? Blizzard left a leak in the game and is litterly to lazy to fix it and now Blizzard does not take the responsibility for it. I find this pityfull.. and very dissapointing. We also got our 70's oh yeah, we just dont like the end game content so decide to stick on the twink side. But we all fought hard, worked hard and farmed alot to be able to have that awesome "low level" content. However if someone ruins 1.3 years of playing and 4 thousand gold I think we should at least make this discusable for any further actions that may be taken. Level reducing would be very nice and will make a lot (paying) players happy. As nearly every server has at least 30 twinks and we deserve the services we need/want to keep this great content alive.

However, the GM in game told me he would like to read this and would be sure this will get a blue post ( would be the first one regarding twinks though). So im hoping for that and I want to thank people for reading this, that is if you didnt scroll down thru the story.

*Bishou*

EDIT: No i dont want to grow up and dont want to make a 29. Simply beacause 19 is more about skills then abilities and i love it.

Hi Bishou,

Firstly I'm sorry that your thread got moved a few times, but the move to the Quests forum was clearly an error as this has nothing to do with quests.

Secondly, I'm sorry if there has been any misunderstanding, but we cannot and do not guarantee 'blue' responses to any threads on the forums. (A quick look at any forum will make that very clear)

Thirdly, as you can see from these 5 pages of posts back and forth, twinks are a very contentious issue.

Finally, the big problem I have in responding to this thread is that I'm not sure what you are asking:

If you have a problem with the actions of the Game Master, i.e. you were unhappy with the service, you can contact [email protected] who will investigate the case.

If you are suggesting that we implement some sort of feature to allow you to lock your character to a certain level, or that the experience sharing mechanic should be changed then what you need is the Suggestions forum:
http://forums.wow-europe.com/board.html?forumId=10024&sid=1

If you are saying that what your guild mate did was wrong, then I agree, I think it is extremely unfair to maliciously level a character who does not want to level up.
However, you have demonstrated yourself, in the fact that you remained at this level for over a year, that it is not particularly difficult to avoid levelling up. I have done it myself for a little while when collecting battleground rewards at levels 19 and 29. You must take some small responsibility for entering into a group with this player when you were so close to the level boundary.

It was to be expected that this would descend into a flame war. I am all in favour of people discussing twinks or any other aspect of the game, but the personal attacks in this thread are not acceptable.
